For instance, a True Position measurement of 0.000 indicates that the hole is precisely aligned with its designated position, while a True Position measurement of 0.010 signifies a deviation of 0.010 from the intended location. If this deviation exceeds the tolerance established in the engineering drawing, the hole’s true position would be deemed out of tolerance, directly impacting quality and fit in assembly processes.
